Research interests
Research interests and activities under the AVISENSE
banner are largely those of the owners,
Andrew Jenkins and
Anthony van Zyl. Most
projects are done in association with either the
FitzPatrick Institute
or the
Animal Demography Unit, both at the
University of Cape Town.
These research initiatives fall into two broad categories, both of
which are directly relevant to AVISENSE’s commercial work, and
substantially inform our ability to detect, assess and effectively
mitigate the impacts of industrial development.
